Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman said during NATO's video ministerial conference on Tuesday that it was important for the alliance to continue attaching importance to the Western Balkans, notably to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
During the first day of the conference, the foreign ministers of the NATO member-states discussed the NATO 2030 initiative, the situation in Afghanistan and Russia.
In his address, Grlic Radman underscored the significance of NATO's engagement in Afghanistan to date, and also commented on Russia's influence on the neighbourhood.
In this context he pointed out the importance for NATO to keep its attention on the Western Balkans, and singled out the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
